AMY NEWHOUSE - Hot 26&2 and Inferno Hot Pilates
Amy is the owner of Hot Yoga Stowe and an avid yogi. She has been practicing yoga for more than 30 years and took over at Hot Yoga Stowe in 2019. You've probably seen her around the studio! Amy completed her 250-hour Hot Yoga Certificate through Evolation Yoga.
Amy is into movement of all kinds and enjoys running, working out, and any other physical activity that allows her to move her body. A friend invited her to her first yoga class and, from that day on, she was hooked. She loved the physical and calming aspects of the class, and it quickly became her number one way to move her body and stay fit. From Amy - In my classes we focus on breathwork and finding an inner sense of calm. I want students to leave feeling calm, centered, and satisfied. Many of my students may not know that I'm also a hairdresser and have been cutting hair for well over 30 years now! Practice with Amy:

MAGGIE WETHERBEE - Hot 26&2
Maggie first fell in love with Bikram yoga as a student in Burlington while she was pursuing her Masters degree in mental health counseling. A year after graduation, she ran into a friend at a Christmas party who was completely transformed and glowing - all because of Bikram.
The Bikram series strengthened Maggie’s body and mind. She joined the Bikram yoga community that January and never looked bank. In 2009, Maggie graduated from Bikram’s Yoga College of India. Maggie taught for several years all over New York City before starting her family. She and her family have now returned to Vermont and she is grateful to have come full circle and rejoin the community as a teacher. From Maggie - In every class, I will tell you how to find depth and alignment in every posture. I want you to leave class feeling amazing - grateful and lighter both physically and emotionally. Something that students may not know about me is that I am petrified of public speaking but for whatever reason I can stand on podium and teach Bikram to a packed room. Practice with Maggie:

JESS LANTOS - Vinyasa Yoga
Jess is a passionate bodyworker, energy healer, yoga teacher, and outdoor enthusiast based in Waterbury, Vermont. Since 2010, her yoga practice has been a catalyst in cultivating calm, peace, and presence in her life.
Her playful classes will create a meditative mind-body connection that emphasizes feeling, rather than thinking, one’s way through the movement. She will challenge your limits while encouraging you to honor yourself and modify poses when needed. Learning this balance of when to push and when to surrender will benefit students beyond the yoga studio. In 2019, Jessica completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Gypsea Yoga School (now InnerSea Academy) in Uvita, Costa Rica, and returned a few years later to complete their Facilitator Program. She helped facilitate a 200-hour teacher training in the Spring of 2022. In addition, she completed a 50-hour Yin and Yoga Nidra certification with Lora Ksieniewicz of Yoga on the Vine. Jess is a Certified Reiki Master and Registered Massage Therapist who has a passion for cultivating a space for healing, relaxation, and self-discovery. From Jess - Teaching yoga has empowered me to speak my truth, love deeper, and live out my dharma. I aim to inspire my students to be who they are meant to be with confidence! Practice with Jess:

ABBY MAURICE- Yoga
Abby has always found yoga to be a soothing practice, something she can return to, to help gather strength and energy for challenges in life. Yoga has ebbed and flowed through her life, always remaining a constant, no matter how much time has passed between practices. Abby completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Sangha Studio in Burlington in 2022.
Abby’s classes are supportive spaces where students can show up exactly as they are. She brings her joy of dance and choreography to each class, welcoming students to expand awareness throughout the body. LYN SELLARS - Dharma Flow Yoga
Like most people in the west, Lyn came to yoga looking for physical exercise, strength, and flexibility. It did not take her long to discover that the benefits went way beyond physical health and well being.
Lyn received her 200-hour teacher training certificate from Frog Lotus Yoga in 2008, which opened the door for her to dive deeper into her yoga practice. She received her 500-hour, 800-hour, and 1000-hour teacher training certifications through the Life of a Yogi programs at the Dharma Yoga Center. Lyn teaches all of the main poses from shoulder stands to backbends to corpse Pose. Combined they are a complete practice, bringing both body and mind into a state of radiant health by energizing the spine and nervous system. She wants her students to leave class feeling in harmony with themselves and the world around them through a greater knowledge and understanding of who they truly are beyond name and form. Something you may not know about Lyn is that prior to learning and practicing yoga, she followed the Grateful Dead and attended many music events and festivals. Indirectly music led her to yoga as she searched for a connection and deeper meaning to life. From Lyn - I studied with many different teachers, but when I began learning and practicing with Sri Dharma Mittra, I knew I had found the source to what I was seeking. Dharma Mittra is known as “the rock of yoga”, “the teacher’s teacher”. To me he is the embodiment of yoga. He lives it!! It is a privilege and a blessing to share what I have learned directly from Sri Dharma as well as my direct experiences with the practices/techniques of living my life as a yogi to the best of my ability. Yoga is Divine Union. Self Realization. To me this means freedom. The yoga practices lead one to a better understanding of who they truly are and towards a life of happiness and peace. I only hope to help others to unlock their full potential and live a more happy and peaceful life. Practice with Lyn:
