POP UP OFFERINGS 2024
Reiki-Infused YIN YOGA with Jess Lantos
Our amazing teacher Jess Lantos is teaching several Reiki-Infused Yin Class Pop Ups in late winter and early spring. Class is on THURSDAY evenings in the downstairs studio from 6:00-7:30 pm. Check the schedule for our most up-to-date offerings.
FROM JESS: This class will provide you the opportunity to peel back the layers of stress. I've heard of yoga but what the YIN!? Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga in which the postures are designed to be held for a minimum of three minutes so that the release goes beyond the muscle and helps to bring pliability to fascia and connective tissues. During this class, I will be offering hands on energy healing, known as Reiki. This is deeply relaxing, healing and supportive for every level of your being.
Space is limited to 8 students, so sign up online ASAP! Your mind and body will not regret it.
NEXT CLASS - SEPTEMBER 12th, 2024 from 6-7:30 pm

Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release with Christie Spring
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced form of yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues of the body (ligaments, joints, bones, cartilage, & the deep fascia networks of the body). All tissues, including our deeper tissues, require appropriate and informed exercise to regain and maintain optimal health. Within this practice, poses primarily occur from the ground, with longer holds (3-5 minutes) for each pose.
In this unique yin workshop, students will be invited to participate in the down-regulation of their nervous system while opening to the release of the physiological fascial networks, which are often a culprit of chronic tension in the body through contraction that occurs with aging. By working directly with fascial tissue using tennis balls provided as myofascial release tools, the cells of the body's connective tissues will be encouraged to reorganize in a skillful and health-promoting way.
Through both longer-held yin poses and gentle guided movements that help cultivate fascial release, students will also be invited to directly connect with the nourishing & powerful cosmic-borne technology of the breath to improve the flow of vitalizing energy throughout the entire body.
Divergent from an active asana practice that is a common approach to yoga in our fast-paced society, yin yoga invites us to rediscover this other half to yoga asana, which cultivates balance and stimulates resiliency for our bodies, hearts, and minds to help us connect back to our wholeness.
Date: Friday 9/27
Time: 6-7:30pm
Price: $35 per person
SPACE IS LIMITED! Students are encouraged to sign up ahead of time.
